Episode 4: Interview with Maury Klein, Previewing "How Outcomes of Patent Fights have Changed the Course of History"

LES Volunteer Michael Plonka interviews Maury Klein, Professor Emeritus of History, University of Rhode Island, to preview his Annual Meeting Luncheon talk, "How Outcomes of Patent Fights have Changed the Course of History." Dr. Klein notes that while most people are familiar with patent law and current court cases, they may not be as familiar with many crucial patent fights that have taken place since the origin of patent law in 1790. These cases, Dr. Klein says, may have changed what the future might have been.
