Wednesday, November 14, 2012
1 PM EST / Noon CST / 11 AM MST / 10 AM PST (90 Minutes)

Much can be learned from license agreements developed and executed during the market conditions of the past decade. Trends in royalty rates and other payment structures, global territories covered and innovative licensing terms often contain insights that can help licensing professionals adapt their strategy to build greater value in 2012 and beyond. Supplementing the LES royalty rate surveys, this presentation will present and leverage statistics garnered from investigating thousands of market licensing agreements in the pharmaceuticals, software, consumer product, telecommunications, chemicals, and consumer products industries with effective dates spanning 2001 to present. The presenters will discuss licensing trends with regard to international licensing, agreement payment structures, and exclusivity for each industry and will also compare and contrast these points across and between industries. The insight from this presentation can be leveraged by all industries to achieve successful licensing and unleash the value of IP portfolios.
