  The course is divided into the following four modules:
Module 1. The Basics of Intellectual Property and Licensing (including language and principles)
Module 2. A Business Framework for Licensing (including planning, tech transfer criteria, and strategies)
Module 3. The Deal (including pre-valuation and tax issues, valuation methods, and negotiation techniques and principles)
Module 4. Living with the Deal (including post-agreement relationships and compliance, and the process of managing intellectual assets)
